Vision Boarding Workshop

Hello again! It was a great time out on the 21st of October with the over 50 kids who attended our life skills development workshop with the topic - 'Vision Boarding' We took time out to explain the following: What a vision board was Why a vision board is important How to create a vision board Other Materials such as the Audio book narration of  Yewande Zaccheaus who had a dream as a young girl to own a business and a video from Steve Harvey, who had a vision of being on Television at the age of 10 were used to buttress the need for a vision board and also served as an added motivation for the kids. Worksheets were given to guide the kids to create their own vision board which was meant to be a half-term activity. Above all, we received extremely positive feedback from the Parents some of which are as below: "The content was superb. It was a lovely session. Such a great time at our 2023 Kidpreneur Summer Classes!

Hello and welcome back to our blog where we post exciting updates about our kids related programmes.  On Monday the 29th of July, we started our Leadership & Entrepreneurship summer classes for 2023 with  about 30 students in attendance.  As usual, the kids learned the meaning of the word 'Entrepreneur' and the mindset of an Entrepreneur using our all popular acronym E.N.T.R.E.P.R.E.N.E.U.R. We also delved into some leadership tips by analysing and learning from the ants - how they have the following skills such as: Self Management Skills Time Management Skills Organisational Skills Social Skills Stress Management Skills On Tuesday , the kids were taught how to find a business idea for the summer and were put into randomized groups to come up with a business idea together. Our First Book Reading & Activity Session - Edition 1

It's been a while! Yesterday,  we held our first book reading and activity session for kids. It was half-term for many of the kids in the UK and a great opportunity to get them off their gadgets for a one-hour productive session. We read the stories of 2 Nigerian entrepreneurs - Linda Ikeji and Bayo Omoboriowo whose hobbies turned into businesses and brought them fortune. The former being one of the highest paid bloggers in Nigeria and the latter, the first personal photographer to the Federal republic of Nigeria and the State house.  It was a read-along session with about 30 kids in attendance. Some keys lessons were learned such as: Mind your hobbies, they could become a source of income A man who is diligent in his business would definitely stand before kings and people of importance.
